The Telegraph - Palazzo Fiuggi
04/01/2022, The Telegraph, Suzanne Moore"As the days went on, I became institutionalised or – and this is the miracle – actually relaxed. Being so completely looked after gives you a mental spaciousness and certainly this was a world away from everyday anxiety. For me, the holiday meant not having to look after or think about anyone else. The staff were incredibly kind, and I saw them adapting treatments for a woman with cerebral palsy or trying to help those with long Covid, as well as getting the ripped young boxer to optimal health. By the end of it, I had lost a couple of kilos. I don’t know if that is “real” weight loss, but it has stayed off so far and wasn’t actually what mattered."
