Give your immune system a much-needed nutrient boost with this delicious and healthy green smoothie! The wellness chefs at Six Senses Douro Valley have put together an easy to make recipe, that will help you boost your immune system.

INGREDIENTS

  • 200g spinach
  • 1 knob fresh ginger
  • 245g frozen pineapple
  • 1/8 teaspoon black peppercorn
  • 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1/2 cup plant milk
  • 1 banana
  • 1/2 tbsp raw honey

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Start by peeling the ginger
  2. Then place all the ingredients in a blender
  3. Blend it all together until it's smooth
  4. Serve chilled
