Available exclusively through Healing Holidays, it was constructed using environmentally friendly and sustainable materials on the 850-year-old, gently restored walls of a former monastic tithe farm and blends seamlessly into its surroundings.
However, don’t let it's idyllic alpine setting fool you - this is a serious medical clinic offering a plethora of programmes and medical diagnostics. You can do it all here, from a sleep-recovery programme to medical checks, weight-loss and detox. There's a programme to help you deal with the menopause, lots of treatments to combat stress and the signs of ageing, and an assembly of experts on hand; dozens of doctors, nutritionists, physiotherapists and fitness instructors.
Food also plays a very important part in Mount Med Resort's wellness philosophy. The retreat has developed three distinct nutrition plans that takes guests differences into account. Based on your physical and mental requirements, Mount Med Resort's experts will work with you to establish which of their three diets is the right one for you. The retreat also hosts regular cooking classes, so you can learn how to keep eating healthily once you return home.
When not undergoing treatments, you can can enjoy the Mount Med Resort's various amenities or, depending on the season, go skiing or hiking in the surrounding area.

WEIGHT GUARDIAN DIET
This takes a similar approach to the keto diet, adding calorie reduction to induce your body to mimic fasting and stimulate lipid metabolism.
HEALTH OPTIMISER DIET
Predominantly plant-based, this wholefood diet follows the principles of reduced-carb nutrition with added health-promoting ingredients.
GREEN LOCAL HERO DIET
Plant-based gourmet cuisine with a healthy nutrition ethos based on sustainably grown, natural food. Protein also plays an important role here, along with whole carbohydrates and green superfoods.
